About This Event

We Make Footballers are hosting a Fun Flair Festival in Birmingham on the Saturday 13th of June, giving players the opportunity to showcase their skills and be seen by professional club scouts.

The event will be filmed using VEO technology, with footage shared directly with professional club scouts.

Footage will be watched by Birmingham City, Aston Villa, Wolverhampton, West Bromwich and Walsall.

This event is open to children aged 5–12 years old (4 year olds can also take part if their parent feels they are ready).

Please book the appropriate session for your child's age group:

1:30pm – 2:30pm (Reception, Year 1 & Year 2, Year 3 & Year 4) 3:00pm – 4:00pm (Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6 & Year 7)

Players in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will participate in 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 matches, grouped by age.

Players in Year 3 – Year 7 will take part in 7v7 and 8v8 matches, grouped by age.

The event will be delivered by our We Make Footballers coaching team, who are all qualified, experienced, and DBS checked.

What Are Fun Flair Festivals?

Exciting talent identification events designed to give players the chance to showcase their skills and play in a fun, pressure-free environment, whilst being seen by professional clubs.

Scouts will review footage remotely — if a club expresses interest in a player, We Make Footballers will pass on parent contact details. This reflects modern football scouting, where clubs increasingly use video analysis to identify talent.

A portion of proceeds is donated to a local children's charity, so every ticket also supports a great cause.

Fun Flair Festivals often sell out quickly, so we recommend booking early to secure your place.

  • 5 out of 5 starsPositive Challenge and Varied Participation
He enjoyed competing against the Year 2 children, which provided a good challenge and helped build his confidence. During the 1v1 drills, he was repeatedly paired with the same child. It would be beneficial to mix the pairings more frequently so that children have the opportunity to play against different opponents, experience a variety of challenges, and develop a broader range of skills

  • 5 out of 5 starsPositive Experience with a Suggestion for Greater Inclusion
He enjoyed competing against the Year 3 children, which provided a good challenge and helped him develop his skills. It was noted that two Year 3 children were selected more frequently for the drills, while the remaining children rotated. Sharing these opportunities more evenly could help ensure all children have equal chances to participate and benefit from the activities.
